Broccoli sprouts for health and vitality! These sprouts have a mild flavour, and are packed with: vitamins A, B, C, E and K, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, carotene, chlorophyll, amino acids, and trace elements. Broccoli is a member of the brassica family of cruciferous vegetables. These crucifers contain compounds called glucosinolates which are said to block the development of cancer. As with Alfalfa, these sprouts can be used in many ways – nibble as a snack, are delicious in an egg salad sandwich, in salads, smoothies…..
